James didn't use POV - Howie and Beau kiss and make up.
Late in the evening Howie agreed to feed Beau ice cream using his mouth not once but twice in order to stay in the house. Details here: http://ilovereality.com/Bigbrother/Bb6/bb6news86.html

James wins POV - not likely to use it.

Jennifer Evicted, Beau New HoH, Rachel and Howie Nominated.
From that it was revealed that Beau has nominated Howie and Rachel. The POV contest will happen Sunday morning.
I am still trying to figgure out what the big secret was that required the feeds to be shut down. The general feelings are that it was simply a stunt by CBS or Arnold Shapiro & Co. to drive up the TV ratings for the show Saturday.
What they DON'T seem to get is without the live feeds this show would not be as popular as it is. As reality shows on TV goes - it is average at best - it is the fact that we get to see what is REALLY happening in the house eveyr day that makes a lot of use tune in.

Did Janelle Cheat in the HoH Competition?
I made a point not to read any of them beforehand but just the subject lines alone indicated I should pay attention to Janelle and her answer.
The main part of the HoH competition involved the HGs turning this box and showing the face of an evicted HG (or the word NONE) as an answer. It looked to me like a couple of the people that lost earlier had technical problems with the cumbersome rotating thing - specifically Maggie who missed an obvious question. Looked to me like she just couldn't get the thing turned.
For those that missed the the final three participants were April, Beau and Janelle. For a tie-breaker the 3 remaining HGs each had a big white board and a marker and were told to write down the number of light bulbs used in the movie luxury challenge.
| Each HG began writing on their board, Beau and April had theirs laying flat and Janelle held hers up to write on it. They could not see each other so the way they held it wasn't too important except in Janelle's case. Beau and Janelle began writing almost immediately while April stood there and pondered. It seems that at the last second Janelle had a change of mind and flipped the board over to write a different number. This exposed the back side of the board where you could clearly see the number 300 upside-down on the board - but Janelle was writing on the other side. Beau revealed his number first - 175 - Julie had asked to see the numbers and Janelle was obviously writing on the other side - April still had not revealed her numbers. | Free 14 Day Trial!!!! |
Julie told Janelle that her number was upside down (but that was the other number - Janelle really should have crossed it out before flipping it over), Janelle was busy writing on the other side - after Julie's comment Janelle put the board down and capped her pen - something that took a couple seconds - meanwhile this entire time April had still not revealed her number. In reality April didn't even begin writing her number until Janelle had already started on the other side of the board (trust me on this - I have run my Tivo back and forth about 5 times watching).
| Janelle was the SECOND person to hold up the number she had been writing on the other side of the card, 275. Lastly April held up her number, 145. Janelle was declared the winner when the number was revealed to be 286. Thus the controversy - I am assuming some of these letters I have yet to read are going to inform me that Janelle should have been forced to keep her first number. | |
All I can say is what so many HGs like to say - watch the tapes. Janelle had time to write two different numbers before April had her first one written - if they had had more than one board to write on she would have tossed that first one aside and started with a new one - she didn't so she turned it over - her different way of writing, with the board held vertically - allowed us to see her first (and wrong) attempt.
If April had had her card held high before Janelle I might have felt a little different - but she didn't. Last week I defended Jennifer and said I didn't think she cheated, this week I will defend Janelle and say the same thing.
If the producers wanted Jennifer to win last week and rigged it - why would they want Janelle to win this week? Sorry - no controversy here - it was a fair game and Janelle won just as Jennifer did last week.
And yes - I am a 'fan' of the Janelle, Howie, Rachel group but as most readers of my site know - I try my best not to react with my emotions. Congrats to Janelle and thanks for the letters.
**Addendum... now I have read the letters so let me try to address a couple things...
- The eliminated HGs were sitting where they could see the remaining HGs - if Janelle had tried some switch-a-roo you can bet the would have jumped all over her (as a matter of fact someone said you can hear Ivette raising a little stink that she had 300 first - but as I said - she had changed it to 275 before April had even shown her number at all).
- Janelle had ONE and only ONE card - she flipped it over - there was no trickery with the camera.
- Julie was confused - but from watching the replay I don't even think Janelle heard her when she said her number was upside down - she was too busy writing her lower number.
- Did you catch Jennifer? She was sooo ticked off that she didn't give the key to Janelle - she tossed it away like a child throwing a tantrum and Janelle had to go get it out of the grass. Not very cool - sheesh - and to think I LIKED her a couple weeks ago!!!
- OOOPS someone wrote me this morning and I checked the tape myself. Janelle did say several things to Jennifer and the other women - (calling them b**ches) - she also flipped off Jennifer after she tossed the key (and it looks like Janelle might have called Jennifer a b**ch right before Jennifer tossed it - ok - to think i liked ANY of them - lol.

Evicted HG and a new HoH
Since my website is down - I'll try posting this here.....
Things that were not explained in the press release:
- Will there be a POV competition before the eviction?
- When will the eviction actually occur? The press release does not say the eviction on Saturday will be live - so I am going to assume it may happen later tonight or possibly Friday.
- Will there be another HoH crowned after the eviction or will the person that becomes HoH tonight be allowed to nominate two more people?
| These questions not being answered will mean a lot of people will be glued to the live feeds after the show tonight to see exactly what happens - and you can bet I will be there right with everyone updating my Main Big Brother Page as I see things happening. If you want to join in click the link at the right to get the free 2 week trial. My guess is that after nominations and the end of the show the HGs will either be told they have a few hours until they must vote - or that there will be a vote first thing in the morning. Julie Chen will have to stay around to interview the evicted HG so it very well may happen late tonight and be followed by a second HoH competition. | Free 14 Day Trial!!!! |
On a side note this new development almost assures that the antics of Howie from Monday and Tuesday will get very little or no air time. The need to have an eviction, HoH competition, and nominations will fill up almost the entire hour.
Conspiracy theorists might want to have fun with this one - what if the producers won't decide the fate of the new HoH until after they see who wins it? If one of the "Friendship" alliance wins it they might decide to make them play for a new HoH alliance so that the other alliance is not completely decimated, but if say, Howie wins the HoH they might let him keep the HoH for the entire week and pick of 2 members of the "Friendship" alliance.
With the large amount of dissapointment over the likely eviction of Kaysar tonight - this might be just the shot in the arm the show needed - thanks CBS for mixing it up!!!
Tonights show - OOPS - they got a BIG secret.
http://ilovereality.com/Bigbrother/Bb6/bb6news75.html
Tonights Live Eviction Show - What to expect.
This week has been a busy one but how much will actually make it on TV?
If you have not kept up on the goings-on in the house where the heck
have you been? Howie decided he had nothing to lose and went after
April Monday afternoon/evening and Tuesday as well.
The question is - will any of it make TV tonight? And who will be
evicted anyway?
Thursday night shows are usually very busy - Julie recaps the entire
week and then they will show clips implying who might go - we see the
diary room conversations where the HGs talk about the pro's and con's
of each HG - for those that watch the show on the net it gets pretty
boring - we want to see Howie letting April have it - he wants to be
the 'villain' so let him.
Perhaps CBS will show Janelle drunk and getting into it with Beau as a
way to make us think she might be going. Janelle also ASKED to be
voted out Monday night - of course she didn't ask after that I would
not doubt that CBS will show her asking as a way to make you feel she
might go.
I don't even have a clue how Rachel and Howie voted (For Kaysar or
Janelle). But the feeling in the house is that Kaysar is probably
going.
So hopefully we will see at least a little of Howie's rant and April's
tears - perhaps even April pointing out Howie's missing finger as a
reason he might not be able to compete well in a physical competition.
After Kaysar (or maybe Janelle) leaves the house, there will be the
HoH competition.
The HGs were given a couple of items yesterday that might clue us in
to the HoH competition. First the wall that normally has the
individual pictures of the HGs was changed and showed them
participating in various food competitions. The thought is they might
have a quiz show type competition.
The HGs were also given a couple decks of playing cards. I don't have
any idea if this was a clue to a competition or just something new for
them to do.
Tune in tonight to see who is evicted and who is the next HoH. If one
of the Friendship alliance wins - be prepared for a very dull week -
if Howie, Rachel or Janelle (assuming Kaysar leaves) wins, then things
should be very interesting as the "Friendship" alliance SHOULD lose
one of their group - it will be VERY interesting to see whom they are
each willing to sacrifice. If James wins it the only person I would
say is safe is Ivette - it would be an interesting week - but not as
good as if, say, Howie won.

Voting Day - Pick a side if you want, but no side is "good."
This little post is a "rant" - be forewarned!!!
Alrighty then.... almost everyone who watches this show has a
'favorite' - someone to root for - that is the nature of these kind of
shows.
But before you run around praising your particular 'favorite'
houseguest or alliance, keep some things in mind.
They ALL have said very mean and nasty things about each other - every
single houseguest remaining in the house has called someone else some
pretty nasty things. Not one of them could say that they haven't.
"Integrity" is not a word any of them is entitled to use.
Be it Ivette comparing Kaysar to Osama or Kaysar calling the other
team 'garbage' (and many other things I don't have time to dig up).
Be it Howie attacking April and her dog AND her husband. Be it April
saying that the other alliances team's parent should be embarrassed
for the way they are acting. Every one of the HG's has displayed an
'ugly' side at times.
I'll run down some examples off the top of my head by Houseguest....
April..... namecalling, lies, trying to get Ivette out (yes - she
wanted Ivette out more than Jen did last week - it is Jennifer that
was more cautious about the move).
Beau... He has said TONS - especially when he was drunk Monday night.
As far as the gameplay - well he hasn't done much - he has just been
along for the ride.
Howie... I am 100% sure some folks out there have been shocked at his
constant sexual comments to the women - and his attacks on April take
the cake so far this year.
Ivette... Her worst offense so far has been the comparison of Kaysar
to the power of Osama Bin Laden and the people that killed themselves
in part because of him (Osama - not Kaysar!!). But she has let loose
with a ton of other mean words when it comes to others in the house.
James... He treated Sarah pretty poorly in the house a lot of the
time, he made her look bad on TV when he spoke of her in the Diary
Room (what was the comment? Something about her being 'somewhat
intelligent' ??). He has called other HGs evil and other names. The
man is playing both sides and I doubt there isn't another HG in the
house he hasn't called some type of name.
Janelle... Names names names - her drunken fight with Beau being a
classic - think of any slang for a gay male and Janelle has probably
said it right to Beaus face. She and April also like to rip on each
other's cosmetic 'enhancements' to member's of their respective
alliances.
Jennifer... She kept her mouth shut for the 1st half of Big Brother
for the most part - but the claws have come out and she has been known
to call members of the other alliance by a few names - not to mention
the way she broke promises. I mean when Big Brother plays a song
called 'Stupid Girl' on the morning you are going to put up Kaysar -
you know she has ticked some people off.
Kaysar... Oh - he has said more than a few naughty words directed
towards James and the "Friendship" alliance and as I said above he
referred to the other team as 'garbage' when they had the advantage
and he knew he was leaving the first time.
Maggie... hmmmm Maggie hasn't actually said too much that I can
recall - but then again Iam positive when she realized Eric was going
she was spewing some venom at the "Jedi" alliance. I am sure it would
not take much digging to fine a few juicey quotes from Maggie.
and Finally...
Rachel... Again like Maggie she hadn't said a ton that I noticed
early on - but this last couple of weeks the temper has come out, she
is a woman on the edge and her verbal comments about the other
alliance and James has shown that she is not an angel.
That all being said - I still have my favorites, and in the end I
won't be shutting off the show if they all get evicted. I would also
not have a problem talking to any of these people outside of the BB
house. Face it - when you get put in a box for 40+ (so far) days
your mental state changes dramatically. So before you attack your
least favorite houseguest out there on the net - remember that chances
are you would come off looking just as bad were you in their shoes!!!

Tuesday - a little bit calmer than Monday...
Well - I think BB may have gotten to Howie...
He did again rip right into April while the HGs were on an outside
lockdown - btu right afterwards he was called to the Diary Room and
after that he has been a little angel.
I have no idea if BB told him to knock it off or what - but I hope not
- that was the one bit of excitement - helped offset the
dissapointment in Kaysar going home this week again.
I almost wonder if the producers told Howie that none of his act was
going to get on TV - to save it for after the live show so they could
show it on Saturday. Or maybe I am just being cynical......
All in all a slow day today.
Monday - a quick list...
Jennifer did pull a fast one and put up Kaysar.
Howie and Janelle went off on Beau and April - Howie says it doesn't
matter anymore so he just RIPPED into her all afternoon and evening
trying to 'break' her and get her to just leave. He didn't get her to
do that but her sure upset her.
Alcohol was given and taken away - Janelle and Beau got quite drunk.
All in all it was a crazy day and I doubt much - if any of it makes it
on TV since the Live Show Thursday won't be able to show much of it.

Who the heck is going up? Only Jennifer knows.
The last word I heard on the Kaysar/James situation sounded like
Jennifer is actually going to put up Kaysar.
Poor girl has no idea how she is ticking off "America" - but she is in
it to win the game - or is she?
My thoughts tell me it may be to her alliances advantage to get rid of
Kaysar - but she will be seen as the cause of his leaving and thus
will move right to the top of the 'most wanted to nominate' list by
Rachel, Howie and Janelle.
She might very well be warming up the sequester house alone a week
from Thursday is she follows through and puts Kaysar up.
Last weeks POV was at 12pm - I doubt it will be any earlier today and
might even be much later in the afternoon.

Birthday Party for Kaysar and Maggie
Today BB had a birthday party for Kaysar and Maggie.
Kaysar's birthday occurred when he was sequestered.
They both got cards from home and a few small items. Kaysar also got
a 20 gig MP3 player and Maggie got a PSP (playstation portable)
console.
Ivette is upset because she celebrated her 9 month anniversary with
her girlfriend on Friday and didn't get anything. I think she is
upset because April got stuff from her husband on their 9 month
wedding anniversary - the difference is that it was also April's
birthday. There is no consoling Ivette though.

Saturday... Rachel wins the POV.
On Saturday Rachel won the POV competition. So on Monday she will
take herself off the block and Jennifer will have to replace her.
The agreement has been that Jennifer will nominate James and the group
will vote him out. However Ivette is pushing very hard to get
Jennifer to nominate someone else (Like Kaysar) and thus sav James -
with whom she has a bit of a connection - and frankly - she seems to
be a big time sucker to all his manipulation.
I am thinking Jennifer will keep her promise and put up James - but
there is a lot of time between now and Monday.
Nominations and the Backdoor Plan
Jennifer nominated Rachel and Janelle.
The plan is that someone will win the POV on Saturday and when they
use it, to save either Rachel or Janelle , Jennifer will then nominate
James who will end up being voted out. This is the 'backdoor' method
talked about but not used this year until now.
Ivette is pushing for James to stay but she is fighting a losing battle.
The only thing that can really mess this plan up is if no one wins the
POV. In that case Rachel will be voted out.

Recap of the HoH competition
6:50pm Everyone still holding on an hour after the show ended - no
one showing the slightest hint of giving up.
----------------- 1 Hour -----------------
7:10pm Still nothing - Howie is walking around talking to the HGs....
I will update every 30 minutes or so unless something changes.
7:30pm 90 minutes into the HoH competition - everyone is still in the
game. The turntable with the boxes on it keeps going round and
round.
7:50pm Howie is going to feed the fish - something he does not
normally do - so they are instructing him - no HG has let go yet.
----------------- 2 Hours -----------------
8:20pm No change - I am going to have to look back and see how things
went last year.. I think the buttons are easier to hold in this year.
8:25pm Last year in the HoH competition where the HGs held buttons
Jennifer was the first out at 45 minutes. Next was Karen at 2 hours.
Then Michael (Cowboy) at 3 hours. We are sitting at 2.5 hours at the
moment with no one out.
----------------- 3 Hours -----------------
8:55pm Talk has turned to sex - nothing worth reporting. A lot of
the HGs can be seen flexing their hands but all are still in the game.
9:35pm 3.5 hours - everyone STILL in the game - nothing has changed.
9:50pm HGs discuss the prize money - according to April if you win
the prize money you do not get the $750 a week that the others get...
I have to be honest - this is the most boring HoH Endurance yet - but
once someone drops I know it will get very interesting.
----------------- 4 Hours -----------------
10:10pm Just to clarify - the boxes will be opened by the people that
let go of the button. No one has let go yet - so no boxes opened.
And they leave the "Box" they are in in 3's - so 2 more people have to
quit before the first can leave. Nothing has changed - all still in
it.
10:25pm Howie has brought out everyone's pictures (previous HoH
people) - Not a good move for people he doesn't want to get HoH -
Maggie said it is making her want to keep her finger on more.
10:35pm Just looking back at the previous HoH endurance comps.. BB3
- Amy won and evicted the previous weeks HoH (CHiara). BB4 - Erica
won and evicted the previous weeks HoH (Justin). BB5 - DIane won and
evicted Scott (Drew was the previous weeks HoH). In BB3 and BB4 the
previous HoH was evicted because deals were made - I can see that
happening this year - at least not deals to get Howie out. They are
now playing "Telephone." to kill time.
----------------- 5 Hours -----------------
11pm Howie comes out with an announcement. It has now been 5 hours-
one box has a 42" Plasma TV, One has a Martini Bar.... and Howie will
open the Green box if no one has opened one within 30 minutes. HGs
decide the Green box must be something bad - so they will just wait.
No one has quit yet.
11:30pm Howie openned the box - it had dead fish in it. The light
over Jame's head has burned out - there is a red and a green one - the
green one will light up if he lets go - the red one stays on - but now
Jame's is burt out. Eveyrone is still playing.
11:50pm Howie says they will be there until 6am and James will either
win HoH or win POV.... As for me I think this is the most stubborn
bunch of HGs in BB history!! lol They also don't trust each other at
all which is why none of them will quit.
----------------- 6 Hours -----------------
Friday August 12th, 2005
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
12:05am Howie announces 6 hours in the competition - he also says
that the food restriction is over and there is lots of food in the
storage room. Some of the HGs are considering quitting now because
they are hungry. Howie brings out food to tempt the HGs - they say
they can have it later.
12:17am Beau's knee touched the ground - he is eliminated. Beau
opened the box that ended up haveing the Martini Bar. Ivette
whispered in Beau's ear - I think she told him that she thinks
Janelle did something 2 hours ago and wants them to examine the tapes.
12:49am Beau is stuck in the box - drinking - Howie has had 3 beers
at least - and no one else is getting off their button. James says he
is not going anywhere - Jennifer says she doesn't want HoH but is
afraid she will be put up..... no one is letting go. I am about to
give up and go to bed myself....
----------------- 7 Hours -----------------
1am - ok - I give up - I will check in in the morning - BB will
eventually make rules like no 'squatting' but I have to be up in the
morning - I will catch this area up then. Only Beau and Howie can't
win HoH at this point.
1:03am Janelle is eliminated - not sure exactly why (Dancing?)....
Janelle picks the red box and it is the plasma TV - a DVD player and
perhaps a movie rental membership.
----------------- 8 Hours -----------------
2:25am - April eliminated - opened a box and won $3,000
2:40am BB makes them choose one hand to use from here on out...
----------------- 9 Hours -----------------
----------------- 10 Hours -----------------
4:15am Ivette is out - Ivette won an Air Horn (??)
4:30am James let go..... Maggie as well - James got Pizza Maggie - Rotten Eggs
4:40am Rachel apparently slipped and let go. I don't think there
were any boxes left..
----------------- 11 Hours -----------------
5:30am.... Still going on... Jennifer and Kaysar are the last two....
I will post the order and additional details in a bit....
----------------- 12 Hours -----------------
6:30am Jen and Kaysar are the only two still in it. Jen really wants
it bad and has cried and said she will even leave next week to get HoH
this week. 12+ hours now... updating as I can.
6:40am New rules. No bending or squating, no touching the glass
except hand on the buzzer, and if your eyes are closed longer than
three seconds you are consideredsleeping and you will be eliminated.
It is Down to Kaysar and Jennifer and has been for the last 2 hours.
----------------- 13 Hours -----------------
7:30am No change..... both still holding strong... Kaysar says it
is a win-win situation - Kaysar has said he will go after James -
Jennifer wants a hug from Kaysar when it is over. 13 1/2 hours.
Rachel is still stuck in the box with them even though she has been
out for 3 hours.
7:40am Kaysar told Jennifer he thought he might give it to her.....
but then nothing happened - they are still going. No sign of quitting
at all - 4 minutes until 14 hours according to Kaysar..
7:45am - Kaysar is eliminated. Jennifer won - she is crying - Kaysar
is telling her it is ok - Kaysar let Jennifer win. He believes they
have an agreement.
----------------- 14 Hours -----------------

Early Thursday Morning
The house is sleeping soundly. The evening was un-eventful. The biggest 'news' from the evening would be the continued discussion by the 'friendship' alliance on the possibility of going after Rachel/Howie if one of them gets the HoH and breaking the agreement to go after James. James meanwhile has floated the possibility of teaming up with Maggie. April promises to 'swear on the bible' if the votes are off (meaning if the votes don't end up being 6-1 to evict Sarah). yadda yadda - none of this matters much until we see the votes and a new HoH is selected - which most likely is a LONG way off (if there is an endurance comp tonight).
